With clearance to play without prohibitive restrictions finally being given, registration opened March 1st. Start of play was delayed until May 16 but then things got really busy on the diamonds and each team generally was scheduled to play 2 games each week up until the schools broke for the summer. To give participants some additional playing time, everyone was offered the opportunity to resume play for a couple of weeks in September. Due the earlier sunset, game times (except for Blastball) were moved up to 6:00 pm. Play in September seemed to be more appreciated by the older players. Special thanks were extended to all those who helped this year --- and the additional ones who stepped forward in September as there were a lot of extra considerations to deal with due to Covid. With the minimal amount of training for the volunteers and umpires, everything went exceptionally well, most likely because everyone was just glad to be back outside playing in an organized activity. With the exception of the Senior 3-Pitch games played in September, all the games were "just for fun" so the focus could be on developing skills, learning the game and socializing. Thanks everyone for making this our "best" season in recent memory.
Coaches of teams of all our teams in 2022 received their players' medallions and photo packages in June 2022. If you missed your team's final June game, please contact your team's coaching staff and make arrangements to get them.
